It’s his third year… the birth of Bango Skank is once again here. For the year 3 Bango we’ve decided to launch with custom orders FIRST. Not only can you pick your own colors. You can select from 3 different heads, and 3 different cuts, creating an endless array of clown fucks to terrorize this, and all other, dimensions.

The story of Bango Skank...
No, it's not some dirty name for bangin' skanks. Bango Skank is an unknown character from the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Throughout the characters' interdimensional travels they often see graffiti tagged by Bango Skank (Bango Skank Was Here!) and it is never explained. The name first appeared in Peter Straub's short story, The Buffalo Hunter, but is not explained there either. With no answers to this mystery being revealed, I decided to make a confession. I AM BANGO SKANK! And maybe you are too. With unlimited dimensions and realities, anything is possible.
My story of Bango Skank the Crimson Clown...
Bango Skank the Crimson Clown is a fan of the Crimson King's chaos. He's a cannibal clown who eats other clowns and is chaos incarnate. An interdimensional traveling artist spilling blood and spreading anarchy throughout the universes. Skinning his victims face off and morphing it into his own.
The story of the mask...
Being fascinated with the mystery of Bango Skank I had begun developing the character over the last 10 years. Each year evolving it slightly into a better fitting, and more terrifying look. The first mask was cut from a mannequin head. From there I was using purchased masks of old men and modifying them. Painting, cutting and strapping, but still, was from a purchased mask/design.
These 2020 editions are sculpted in WED clay over a life cast of my own face, cast in USG No 1. Pottery Plaster, cast in RD-407 latex, and painted with latex paints and acrylic inks all by me in my studio. All photography is shot in-house.
