About the Hellgazers…

The Hellgazer is a demon whose sole purpose is to bring balance to the human realm. With its two eyes melted from its face it sees through its third eye. The Hellgazer’s power is mesmerizing a human with its third eye and absorbing the sins and pain of a human. This causes the sigil in its head to glow with the Hell it absorbs and then casts that Hell into another being by gazing into their eyes.

If a Hellgazer absorbs and does not cast out that Hell onto another, its skin grows dark and its teeth and flesh begin to rot. The Hellgazers who cast out Hell onto deserving victims and create balance in the Human Realm grow strong, and have been known to sprout additional eyes from their horns.

The Hellgazer is not a good or evil. It is equilibrium. A demon ensuring the Hell on Earth caused by humans gets cast upon those who deserve it, and removes it from the innocent.
